Obituary of Doris Parsons

Doris Parsons
November 23, 1927 – August 18, 2022
 

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doris Parsons announce her passing at Corner Brook Long Term Care in Corner Brook, NL on August 18, 2022, at the age of 94 years.

Left to mourn are her 13 children: May (John) Goulding, William (Katie) Parsons, Freeman (Edwina) Parsons, Marie (Why Cliff) Christopher, Eric (Bobbie) Parsons, Joan (Robert) Pittman, Agnes (Ronnie) Payne, Hazel (Leonard) Tucker, Randy (Rosemary) Parsons, Tony (Sandra) Parsons, Leverne (Bernie) Mathews, Beverly, and Sam; 25 Grandchildren; 23 Great-grandchildren; 37 Great-great grandchildren; Brothers: Clifton (Cindy) Taylor, James (Edna) Taylor, and sister Lillian Brake, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and other close relatives.

Doris was predeceased by her husband Gilbert Parsons; grandson Jody Goulding; Brothers: Alton (Ella) Taylor, Fred (Shirley) Taylor, Austin, Wallace, Loran, and Jack; Sisters: June wheeler and Olive Penny.

Visitations will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, and Saturday, August 20, 2022, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Summerside. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul’s Anglican Church with Rev. John Van Vliet officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at the United Cemetery in Summerside.
