It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Tapp announce her sudden passing Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age 53 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her spouse David Perry; furry friend Beau; David’s daughter Stephanie; sister Brenda Ryan; brothers: Douglas Tapp and Raymond Tapp; Goddaughters: Jessica Tulk, Sabrina Tapp and Emma Curtis; special life long friend Donna Tulk; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents William and Alice Tapp, brother Dave Tapp, sisters Greta Tapp and Geraldine Tarbett, brothers-in-law Dave Ryan and Clyde Banks, sister-in-law Sharon Tapp. Through all of her life struggles with her health over the years, Evelyn always put the needs of others before her own. She was a caregiver to so many family members and friends. She was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A special thank you to Dr. Osbourne, Dr. Murphy and Dr. Van Wijk for their care and concern over the years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22 7-9 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Terry Loder officiating. As expressions of sympathy, flowers donations to a charity of one’s choice.
