ROLAND JOHN MORRIS ST. DAVID’S, NL MARCH 11, 1943 – NOVEMBER 16, 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland John Morris of St. David’s announce his passing at his family residence in St. David’s on Monday, November 16th at the age of 66 years. He leaves to mourn with many precious memories his wife Mabel; daughters: Kerry Lee (Emanuel Cormier), Jasper, AB, Wendy (Kirk Hillier), Wolfville, NS, Stephanie (Kent), Amherst, NS; son Harvey (Amanda), Edmonton, AB; brothers: Aubrey, St. David’s, Ronald (Cathy), Curling, NL; nieces and nephews: Peter, Jeffrey, Claudette, Nakita as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Augustus and Harriett Morris. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday beginning at 4:00 p.m. from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s from where the funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Canon David Pearce officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, St. David’s. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
