Obituary of Clemence Jararuse

It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of the late Clemence Benjamin Amos Julius Jararuse, at the age of 63 on August 22, 2022 in Makkovik, Nunatsiavut. Clemence was born on March 23, 1959 in Hebron, Nunatsiavut to the late Amalia and Boas Jararuse. He was the second last baby to be born in his beautiful hometown. Clemence was a skillful hunter all of his life, who many looked up to as he had wealth of knowledge about the land and sea. He was a hardworking fisherman and helped his family tremendously. He had a large circle of friends from all over and his pride and joy was the children in his family as well as getting together with friends for a game of poker or darts. Clemence was a loving and caring person, a devoted uncle, brother and friend who was always thinking of others. Clemence leaves to cherish his loving memory with his brothers; Martin and John (Sophia). Sisters; Clara (Tom) and Susanna (Brent). Nephews and great nephews; Martin, Joshua, Trent, Cody, Brayden, Russell and Oliver. Nieces and great nieces; Betty (Russell), Amalia, Cassie, Mandy (David), Salome, Ida, Rachael, Matilda, Jessica, Hannah and Rayah. Predeceased by parents; Boas (Amalia) and siblings Jacko, Dina and Emily. 

Funeral Service will be held at The Moravian Church, Makkovik, Nunatsiavut on Monday, August 29th, 2022.
