Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009, Hannah “Evelyn” Tucker. Born in Lark Harbour on July 18th, 1915 to the late George and Rebecca Mollon, she was the youngest of 13 children. Predeceased by her husband Frank, September 1993; eight brothers, Josiah, William, Henry, Bert, George, Clarence, Leslie and Hayward, four sisters, Lillias, Ethel, Elizabeth and Blanche. Survived by her two sons Malcolm (Muriel), Wayne (Marie), three daughters Carolyn (Everett Hann), Rebecca (John Parsons), Christine (Maitland White). Eleven grandchildren; Glynis (Allan Ellsworth), Natalie (Dale Merry), Tina Pittman, Renee (Steve Couglin), Blair Tucker, Jennifer (Donald Curry), Petrina (Chad Brake), Michael Hann (Tina), Jason Hann (Sueann), Craig Hann (Nadean), Stephen Green (Cheron). Great-Grandchildren; Melanie, Matthew, Natasha, Derricka, Alexander, Noah, Casey, Christina, Brandon, Janelle, Matthew, Morgan, Joshua, Nathan and Ava, and one Great-Great-Grandchild Jaida. Sisters-in-law Hilda House, Evelyn Marche and Cassie Marche, her special nephews and nieces; Derek, Gary, Billy, Clyde, Hayward, Melvin, Clarence and Bill Mollon; John Park, Clifford Earle, Clyde Sheppard, John, Jimmy, Donald and Kevin Costello, Lillian Flood, Elizabeth Brown, Kathleen Park, Margaret Rose, Evelyn Goodman, Bertha Raoul, Doris, Eileen and Nellie Costello, Rose Anne Paruch, Rose Marie Campbell, Edith Blanchard and Lorraine Ellsworth. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Friday 2-4 PM. Visitation will continue at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Meadows from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21st at 2:00 PM with Rev. Malcolm Palmer and Mr. Aubrey Ellsworth officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church Memorial Fund.
