It is with great sadness that the family of the late Stanley Anderson announce his passing on September 5, 2022 at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo NL at the age of 86 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 58 years Elizabeth, Daughters: Rena, Harriet (Joe), Gloria (Todd), and Diane (Dorman); Sons, Leonard (Linda), David (Krista) and Shawn (Rachael). Also 10 grandchildren: Matthew, David, Marcus, Mason, Tara, Amber, Chandler, Tori, Troy and Liam, and great granddaughter Cassandra, as well one brother Clayton and a large circle of family and friends.
Stanley was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Ester Anderson and in laws Ernest and Dora Strickland and son in law Brian Meade.
Stanley was a quiet gentle man who loved being surrounded by his family. Stanley loved nature and he had a sharp mind and a quick wit. He will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place. The funeral will take place at the faith united church on Friday, September 9th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
