Wesley Joseph Bennett

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wesley Bennett announce his passing on August 29th, 2022 at Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC at the age of 41 years.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his mother, Genevieve Bennett; daughter Brooke, brothers, Jeffrey (Crystal) and Kirk and sister Trina Compagnion (Kerry); nieces and nephews: Zoe and Lucas Bennett, Anthony Bennett, Spencer and Sarah Compagnon; step-brothers, Darren, Doug and Donald Evoy; uncle Kevin Hackett and the Hackett families; as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Hackett and grandmother Adeline Gallant. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 8th at 10:30 Am from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Benoits Cove with Fr. Jim Robertson officiating. Interment to follow at the new Roman Catholic cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
