Raymond Francis Blanchard born May 21, 1936, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022 at his home in Shallop Cove, with loved ones by his side, at the age of 86 years.

Sadly missed and loved dearly by his children Sarah Adele (Trish) Harris and their children Emily & Michael & his son Raymond Lewis Tobin, also known fondly as "Bozo".

He is survived by his loving partner of 21 years, Monica Simon, and the mother of his children and special friend, Christine Tobin, as well as many loved step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Raymond was predeceased by his parents Louis & Ester (LeBlanc) Blanchard, his brothers, William and Kevin and his sister Bernadette.

Raymond, also known as "Mr. Fix It" (there wasn't a small engine he couldn't repair), was loved by all and had a special knack of making people laugh.  Many visits and special times were shared with great friends, Jackie and Diana Tobin.  His love of outdoors (hunting and salmon fishing) was one of his favorite past times that brought him much joy throughout his life.

Whether it was family, friends or the neighborhood dogs, Raymond loved to be surrounded by all.  Smiling, laughing and sharing all he had with the people around him.

Special thanks to all the health care providers who provided compassionate care at both Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital and in his home In Shallop Cove.  Your care and kindness was heart warming and will not be forgotten.

At Raymond's request,cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service at this time.
