Amy Isabel BLANCHARD Parson’s Pond, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Amy Blanchard announce her passing on Monday, November 23rd, 2009 at the Interfaith Home for Seniors, Corner Brook at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Hedley (Lorraine), Winston and Edgar, Parson’s Pond, Clifford, Brampton, ON, Geraldine Gagne, Bishop Falls, Susie Andrews (Lewis), Corner Brook and Leah Biggin (Bruce), Daniel’s Harbour; 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; daughters-in-law: Florence and Irene Blanchard; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Roland; sons: Stanley and Garrett; daughter-in-law: Olive and son-in-law: Albert Gagne. The family would like to say a special thank you to the Nursing staff from the Interfaith home who showed such care and compassion towards their Mom. Visitation will take place from St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Parson’s Pond beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 26th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Jean Brinston Hickman officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of ones choice.
