It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie Anita Benuen announce her passing on September 22, 2022 at St. Claires Hospital at the age of 65. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are daughter; Antonia Benuen, brothers; Fortunate Pokue, Simon Pokue, sister; Penash Rich and grandchildren; Adeline Benuen, Francine Benuen, great grandchildren; Spencer Benuen, Serenity, Jackso, Regina, Nolan, Sawyer, Noel and Caige. Predeceased by parents; Charles (Penash) Pokue, brother; Dominic Pokue, sisters; Lucy Piwas, Manish Jacobish, son; Walter Benuen and grand daughter; Fredicka Benue.

 

Visitation will be held on September 27th, 2022 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay from 7:00-9:00 pm.

 

Funeral Service will be held on September 29th, 2022 at St. Annes Church, Natuashish, NL starting at 11 am with Father Joe officiating.
