Obituary of Henry Lavers
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Henry Lavers announce his passing on Sunday, November 15th, 2009 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 77 years. Leaving to mourn one sister Theresa Dobbin, Port Saunders; step-brother Lawrence Lavers, Maine; special niece Brenda Dobbin; other nieces and nephews Gary and Wanda, Jody and Marilyn, Nish and Verna, Maurice and Iris, Linda and Bernard, Glen, and a circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents William and Elizabeth, step-sisters Hazel, Muriel and Elsie, step-brothers Phil and Earl, and brother-in-law Ben Dobbin. The family received friends at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Port Saunders on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Lee Lainey officiating. Interment followed at the Interfaith Cemetery in Sandy Cove. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
