It is with great sadness that the family of the late Claude Stratton announce his passing on Monday, October 10, 2022, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 70 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Eliza; son Stephen (Trina); daughter Angela; sisters: Ruby and Helen; sisters-in-law: Florence (Eric Brown), Elaine (Terry Gardener), Irene Stratton, Veronica Stratton; brothers-in-law: Reg (Alma Smith) and June Sutton, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Claude was predeceased by his parents: Belah and Joyce Stratton; mother and father-in-law: Wellesley and Hortensia Smith; brothers: Roy and Arthur; and sister-in-law: Mary.

As per the family's wishes, cremation is set to take place, with a visitation to follow on Thursday, October 13th from the hours of 7-9PM at Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue. A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 14th at 1:00PM from Fillatre Funeral Home Chapel, 4 St. Marks Avenue with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
