It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lew Wells announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on October 13, 2022, at the age of 78 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Debbie (Danny) Garcia, Lewie (Ruth) Wells, and Janice (Scott) Pennell; grandchildren: Casey Garcia, Cody Wells, Courtney Wells and Kelsey Pennell; sisters Loretta Wells and Leona Wells; nephew Gord Wells; as well as a circle of other friends and family.

Lew was predeceased by his father Edmund Wells, mother Annie Wells, stepmother Lucy Wells, and his brothers: Arthur “Fox” Wells, Anthony “Tony” Wells, and Charles Wells.

Following Lew’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a visitation held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street, on Sunday, October 16^th, 2022, from the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Saint Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, 456 Curling Street on Monday, October 17^th, 2022, at 10 a.m. with Reverend Cynthia Haines-Turner officiating. Interment to follow at Saint Mary’s Anglican Cemetery.
