Obituary of Darius Scanlon

August 3, 1945 - October 14, 2022

It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Darius Scanlon announce his passing on Friday, October 14, 2022 at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, at the age of 77 years.                                                                                                                                                         

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving partner Ellen Tatchell; daughters:  Rodina (Brendon), Bobbi (Bob), Sophia (Mike). Phyllis (Jim), Marvey, Alvin (Sadie), Martin (Georgette), grandchildren: Stephen (Courtney), Sara, Deborah (Damian), Stephanie (Morgan), Rain, Teagan; great-grandchildren: Leah, Rylan; brothers and sisters:  Patrick (Jane), John, Janet (Darren), Maureen (Ivan); Sisters-in-law:  Ellen, Bridget and the beloved cat, Cookie.                                             

Predeceased by: wife Helena, parents William and Francis, brothers:  Donald. Eymard; sisters:  Elizabeth, Beatrice; three Brothers-in-law:  Cecil, Melvin, Cecil; sister-in-law Geraldine.                                                                                                          

Family would like to extend a special thank you to the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre Staff, Port Saunders, for their care and support.

A Service of Rememberance will take place on Monday, October 17th, 2022 @ 2pm, Saint Anne's Chapel, Castor River North.

Father Rossi Officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment to follow at a later date.
