Patricia Mary Gray
March 14, 1950 – October 12, 2022
It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Patricia Gray (nee Peters) announce her passing on October 12, 2022.
Pat was a loving and caring woman and was destined to a life of helping others. She dedicated more than 20 years of her life to working in senior care facilities taking care of the residents at a time when they needed her the most.
Her family and friends will miss her terribly.
Pat is resting comfortably now and leaves to mourn, her husband of 42 years, Ron Gray, who loved her dearly and worshipped the ground she walked upon and also her loving dog, Brandy.
Her siblings Marjorie (Kevin – Deceased) of British Columbia, Myra (Andy) of Newfoundland, Bernadette (Mervin – Deceased), Marcia (Ray), Patrick (Cathy), and Sheila (Lester) all of Nova Scotia. Her nieces and nephews, whom she loved as if they were her own.
The Gray family of New Brunswick.
Pat was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Cecilia Peters and nephew Sean Green.
While Pat had many friends, too many to mention, we would really like to express our sincere appreciation to Heather Boutlilier, for always being there for Pat.
Thanks to all of those who called Pat during her stay in the hospital, she really appreciated these calls. We all know pat loved to talk to her friends on the phone (some on a daily basis), and we can now only hope that there is a phone in heaven that she can use.
The family would like to thank Dr. Hall, Dr. Snow, and their staff, The doctors and staff of the Dartmouth General, the doctors and nurses of the Victoria General Hospitals palliative care unit and unit 9A.
Pat would like to say a special thank you to her co-workers at the Oceanview Manor who made her time there a fun and memorable experience.
In addition, Pat would like to thank her sister Bernie for teaching her to tie her shoe laces when they were young and when they had to wear those ugly brown shoes.
Following Pat’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 25 at 10:30 AM from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road, Corner Brook with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
No flowers by request, donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.
