So sad to see a young man gone way to soon. Mark was one of a kind that put a smile on everyone’s faces. I knew mark all my life and about 20 years ago he moved to goose bay and lived with mom . Mom made sure he was looked after and made sure he had a full belly at all time. After mom passed away mark was devastated and took the news very hard, so dad steps up and takes him under his wing, dad was just like mom he made sure that mark was taken care of. Mark was like a brother to us.
During marks journey living in goose bay mark got to finally meet his Biological father Ronald Groves, from there it was like no other, I often been down to visit, I’ve seen that mark and Ronnie had the strongest bond a father and son could have
Mark spoke highly of his family that he was really close with , his aunt Susan who reared him up to the man he was today, Jamie who is his cousin but considered him his brother. Clarence, Melvin and his aunt Madeline, he thought a lot of you all and this was his family
We will cherish all of his memories and we all know who was and wasn’t in his life,
The sorrow we feel when we lose a loved one is the price we pay to have had then in our lives
