Obituary of Rachel Maude Wentzell
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rachel Maud (Williams) Wentzell announce her peaceful passing on Thursday, October 27th,2022 at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, NL at the age of 80 years.
Rachel Maud (Williams) Wentzell was born to Robert and Beatrice (Turnbull) Williams in Hawk’s Harbour, Labrador on the fourth of June 1942. She was the second of five children: Rex, Maud, Walter, Claude, and Mary Ann. She married Asaph Frederick Wentzell on the 13th of August 1963 in Square Islands, Labrador. Together they had 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley – Goose Bay, on Friday, October 28th, 2022, from the hours of 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
A visitation and funeral service will be held in Charlottetown, Labrador, with dates to be announced.
