Regina Mary Lasaga

St. George’s, NL

December 19, 1934 – October 28, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Regina Mary LaSaga announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing, NL at the age of 87 years.

She leaves to mourn her 9 children:  Brian (Olive) LaSaga of St. George’s, Steve LaSaga of St. John’s, Wayne LaSaga of St. George’s, Anastasia (Thomas) Lee of Shallop Cove, Sandra (Cecil) LaSaga of Lourdes, Bernice (Kenneth) Lee of Shallop Cove, Kevin (Patricia) LaSaga of B.C., Doreen (Gerald) Snow of B.C., Gilbert (Nina) LaSaga of ON; sisters:  Lorraine Nash of Nova Scotia, Rosemary (Peter) Baker of Flat Bay, Genevieve Nash of Stephenville; brother Benedict (Joyce) Nash of Flat Bay; 20 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She loved the outdoors and enjoyed many activities along side her husband Vincent.  Knitting, puzzles, creating crafts were a few of her many skills she did with love. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who always made time for her family.

Regina was predeceased by her parents Dave Turrout and Delia Nash, husband Vincent LaSaga, children:  Michael, Marie, Lorraine, Laurie; grandchildren:  Wade Curnew, Derrick La Saga, Robert Lee, Claude Perrier, Delilah Snow.

Flowers accepted and donations may be made to the Dementia Society.

Visitation on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL

Cremation has taken place. No Church Service.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home in Stephenville Crossing, NL.
