December 13, 1934 – February 22, 2018
Oh my glory, It is with heavy hearts that we have said good-bye to Margaret Taylor. Margie passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her family when she bid this world farewell. She leaves to mourn, her husband, Donald, daughters: Cathy (Glenn), Linda (Colin) and son, Stephen (Arlene) as well as her four grandchildren: Erika (Dustin), Alexander (Jessica), Joshua (Jessie) and Andrew (Jasmine), sisters in law: Marjorie Fradsham, Marion Ruth and brother in law, John Taylor (Barbara) and many nephews, and nieces. She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Gladys Fradsham, sisters June Rose (Tom) Sylvia Griffin (Gerard), Marilyn Roberts (Clyde), Ella Crews (Ray), Linda Fradsham and brother, Albert Fradsham. Sisters in law: Gwendolyn (Jack), Lillian (Bud), brothers in law: William (Bride), Howard (Bernice), and Roy. Margie led a very full life up to two weeks before her passing. She thoroughly enjoyed her Rummoli card club, her TOPS chapter, Bible Study group and the wonderful friendships she made. Her hearty laugh was a trademark and she kept her sense of humour right to the end. Her words of wisdom left an impression on all of whom she encountered. Her friends were well aware of her love of cats. Donations to Scaredy Cat Rescue or the Palliative Care Unit may be made in Margie's memory. Many thanks to the staff of emergency, 3A, and the palliative care unit for their support and care. Margie has blown out the candle and closed the curtain. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 pm where a family service will take place at the chapel at 6 pm with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. To sign the family guestbook, you may visit our website at www.fillatre.ca.
