Obituary of Cyril Hughes

April 15, 1939 - November 3, 2022

It is with saddened hearts the family of the late Cyril Hughes announce his sudden passing on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the age of 83.  He passed away at the Curtis Memorial Hospital in St Anthony. Cyril's death was unexpected, five months after the death of his beloved wife Maxine, with whom he had shared 56 years of marriage. 

He leaves to mourn his loving children:  Warren (Dale), Gerald (Shazia); Grandchildren: Timothy (Anne), Jeremy (Bianca), Johnathan, Josiah, Alyssiana (Chad); Great grandchildren:  Kaelem, Lilia, Emma; Brothers and Sisters:  Rhoda (Lloyd), Wallace (Joannne), Ford (Linda), Geoff (Kathy).                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

Predeceased by his parents:  James and Edith Hughes; Siblings:  Douglas, Lambert, Albert, Marion, Lillian.                                                               

Funeral to take place at St Andrew's Anglican Church in Lower Cove, NL on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 @ 11 am. Reverend Canon Veron T.  Short officiating. Interment to follow at the Green Island Brook Cemetery.
