Obituary of Rose Brown

Adeline Rose Brown

Port-au-Port, NL

August 29, 1941

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Adeline Rose Brown announce her passing at her private residence with her family by her side on November 4, 2022 at the age of 81 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her children:  Valda (Eric), Stephen (Bev), and Marvin; grandchildren:  Hailey, Michael, Kaiden and Aiden;  her 6 sisters:  Ethel McGrath, Bell Chritchley, Margaret Shears, Marlee French, Marina Shears, Geraldine Falls;  2 brothers:  Calvin and Aubrey Madore and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends, especially her ACW and Hospital Auxiliary friends.

Rose was an avid volunteer.  She loved to bake for many functions being held and was very giving of her time.  She also loved to knit and gave her knitting to her special person Roy.  Rose also adored Kaylee and Robin who were just like her grandchildren.  She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her parents Royal and Ettie Madore and her husband Bernard Brown.

Following her wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be held at the St. George’s Anglican Church in Robinson’s, Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Canon Dawn Barrett officiating. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Robinson's, NL.
