It is with profound sadness that the family of the late William (Bill) Quinton announce his passing after a short illness at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, while surrounded by his family on Monday, November 7^th, 2022 at the age of 89 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories; daughter Donna Matthews, son, Derrick (Kim) Quinton; four precious grandchildren: Jonathon (Samantha), Matthew (Giselle)  , Joshua (Kayla)  and Hannah ;  brother Max and sister Lillian (Jim Sampson); sisters-in-law: Joan Trahey and Nancy Froude (Gerry), Joan Kelly; brothers-in-law:  Gary Kelly, Ted Kelly (Mary), Kevin Kelly (Florence), John Plakiotos ; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, and his puppy Zoe. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Cora, 2020; his parents  Henry and Laura Quinton; sister Bonnie Mouland;  parents-in-law James and Mary Kelly; son-in-law Allan Matthews; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Kay Quinton, Leonard and his wife Frances Kelly, Michael and his wife Elizabeth Kelly, Bill Kelly,  Ida Plakiotos,  William Trahey  and Lozanne Kelly.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mountain View Estates and especially the Nurses and Doctors of 3B and 3C at Western Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion shown to our Dad. Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place, with a burial service to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
