It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Lushman announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the age of 83 years. He will be sadly missed by his sister Elizabeth Ann Dominey, special niece Mary, as well as many other nieces, nephews, caregivers Queenie and Masie, friend Wayne Ingram and cat Tigger.
He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary, sister Violet (Charles), brothers Peter (Bessie), Stephen (Alma), James (Clara) and Terrence, and his brother-in-law Clayton Dominey.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022, from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Burgeo, from where the funeral will take place on Thursday, November 17 at 11:00 with Reverend Elsie Rose officiating. Interment will follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
