Obituary of Mae Learning

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mae Learning announce her passing on Tuesday, November 15^th, 2022, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at the age of 68 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband: Allan Lethbridge; daughter: Annie (Frank) Martin-Ferraro; son: Wil (Siena) Lethbridge; grandchild: Faith Paige Lethbridge; brothers: Harris (Marge) Learning and Bill (Sharon) Learning; nephews: Baxter Hamel (Brooke Alexandrea), Brandon Learning, and Brody; nieces: Sydney Peach, Melisa Chaulk, Stephanie Normore, Denise Foote, Vanessa Pilgrim, Quinn, and Oaklynn; Sister-in-law: Hilda Michelin. As well as a large circle of family and friends.

Mae was predeceased by her mother: Ethel Learning; father: Sampson Learning; brother: Stephen Michelin; niece: Michele Peach (Learning); mother-in-law: Polly (Mary) Lethbridge; father-in-law: Garland Lethbridge.

A visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL on Thursday, November 17^th, 2022, from the hours of 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 19^th, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Anglican church in Cartwright, NL. Interment to follow at the Anglican cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, a donation in Mae’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NL. Flowers are also graciously accepted.
