Jennetta Head
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of our mother Jennetta Head, resident of Grande Cache, AB, on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the age of 87 years.
Jennetta is survived by her loving family. Her son: David Head of Grande Cache, AB; son Shawn Head (Mary) of Quesnel, BC; grandson Brandon Head (Genevieve); great-grand children McKinley and Bennett; grandson Ryan Head; granddaughter Shawna Head (Carter); great-grandchild Michael; former daughter in-law Debbie; son Rodney Head Sr. (Darlene) of Grande Cache, AB,; granddaughter Tamara Howe (Steve); great-grandchildren Brieal (Justin) and Brysen; granddaughter Tina Head; great-grandchild Wyatt; grandson Roddy Head (Noelle); as well as great-grand children, Jake, Jett, and Ivy. Also surviving are her siblings: Geraldine Young (Norman) of Corner Brook, NL, Fred Williams (Fronie) of Fort McMurray, AB, Don Williams (Marina) of Dartmouth, NS, Marjorie Way (Aubrey) of Corner Brook, NL, Johnny Williams (Roma) of St Johns, NL, and Derek Williams (Michelle) Of Hillsborough, NB. There are numerous other relatives and a host of friends left to mourn.
Jennetta was predeceased by her loving husband Michael William Head; parents Chistina Williams and John Williams; sibling Gordon Williams; father in-law Lawrence Head and mother in-law Virtue Head; as well as stepfather in-law Alfred Budden
A Viewing for Jennetta Head was held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 10:00am, at the Cornerstone Mountain Assembly in Grande Cache (11001 Leonard St.). Funeral Service followed, with Pastor John Omale officiating.
A Livestream of the service will be accessible 15 minutes prior to the service on Jennetta’s obituary on Oliver’s Funeral Home website.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation - Mackenzie Place Enhanced Care Unit, in memory of Jennetta Head (11205 110 St, Grande Prairie, AB, T8C 4B1).
