It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lillian (Louise) Strickland announce her passing on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Reginald Strickland, Kimberley (William) O’Connell, Dawn (Douglas) Young, Terrance Strickland and David (Manpreet) Strickland-Maan; grandchildren: Shawn, Adam, Elizabeth, Matthew, Justin, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Allura, Keith, Jeffrey and Jessica; 11 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald Strickland, parents and siblings. Cremation has taken place. An interment will be held on Thursday, November 24 at 1:00 p.m. for family and close friends at Mount Patricia Cemetery with Major Brian Wheeler officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Bay of Islands SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society.
