Dear Joan and family,
Joe was an outstanding man who contributed so much to the community of Deer Lake and any community he found himself in.Both of you raised such an outstanding family and I remember my parents often speaking so well of all of you.
He was a gift to all and for those who knew him, our focus should be on our gratitude for having had Joe in our lives in any capacity.

Joe and I went to school together all those years ago in Riverhead. He was the goaltender on our winning high school hockey team. Steady as a rock, couldn’t have happened without him and his great play. When ever I saw any old the old gang Joe’s name would come up. Always a nice guy! My condolences to friends and family.

My heart sank today as I read of Joe's passing although I knew his time
was drawing near..he has been dealt with so much for you all to deal with.
He dealt with it all and always with dignity. I will always remember the pleasure
of being a member of your wedding party and the memory of Joe being part of ours.
