It is with great sadness that the family of the late Frederick James Hurley announce his passing on Friday, November 25, 2022 at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Gerard (Joan) Hurley, Frank Hurley and Betty (Gerard) Flynn; son-in-law Kevin Reardon; grandchildren: Charlene, John, Terri Lynn, Kirk, Kevin Jr. and Jamie; great-grandchildren: Keira, Frederick, Lily, Kenzie, Harleigh, Gabriella and Harper; sisters: Kathleen, Gertie and Mary; brothers: Mike and Steve; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, children Mary and Wilfred Hurley and Madonna Reardon. A special thank you to the Doctors, nurses and staff of Dr. Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony and the staff at Bay St. George Long Term Care in Stephenville Crossing. Cremation has taken place. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m. from Our Lady Star of the Sea, Croque with a wake service on Monday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. Interment will follow the funeral service at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Conche.
