Cecil Earle

1930 - 2022

It is with great sadness that the family announce the sudden passing of Cecil Earle, at his home in Lanse au Loup on November 29th, 2022 at the age of 92 years.

He will be sadly missed and survived by his wife of 62 years Flora (Ryland), 3 sons, Stephen (Melsie), Wyman (Koren), Laverne (Paula), 2 daughters Daphne (David), Gwen (Rod), grandchildren Trent (Amanda), Tasha (Bradley), Nikki (Mathieu), Noelle, Tristen (Kristen), Troy (Jade), Chloe (Lucas), Cassondra, Oceanna and Kiara, great grandchildren Landon, Grayson, Sophia, Callie and Harper, brother Pleaman (Selina), sisters Dora and Adeline, sister in law Eileen (Bert), brother in law Jerry (Clara), special fur baby Piper, who loved her morning ear rub from Pop.

He was predeceased by loving son Gaius John (2017), father William, mother Rebecca, sisters Gladys and Ethel (Victor), step-sister Adelette, step-brothers Sam (Sarah), Ralph (Maude), Spofford (Isabella), mother in law, Effie Saulter (Ryland), sister in law Susie Hancock (Ryland), Jeanette Hancock (Saulter).  Also left to mourn and with fond memories, a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and LPN’s at the Forteau Health Centre, the nurses, LPN’s at Curtis Memorial Hospital, and a special thank you to Dr. Hay who was so kind and compassionate with him at his stay there.

He will forever be remembered for his kind heart and loving spirit. His love of story telling will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Gospel Hall in Lanse au Loup.  Interment to follow at the Gospel Hall Cemetery in Lanse au Loup.
