It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family of the late Hilliard James King announce his passing on November 30, 2022 at his residence in Dartmouth, NS at the age of 68 years.

Beloved father of Rebecca (Dwayne) Alexander of Stephenville Crossing; adored grandfather of Brady Alexander of Fort McMurray, AB; Noah and Jake Benoit of Stephenville Crossing, NL; brothers:  Brian (Paula) King of St. Thomas, ON, Garfield (Sabina) Simmonds of Markham, ON: sisters:  Barbara (Claude) Martin of Brampton, ON, Robin (Dwayne) Bennett of Flat Bay, NL, Bonita King of Stephenville, Garfield Simmonds Sr. (Stepfather) of Brampton, ON, NL as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents:  Anita Simmonds and Joseph King, his daughter Amy Elizabeth Alexander and his son Shane Robert Falle, his brother Gordon King and his sister Genevieve King.

Visitation on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.  Church Service on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with Fr. Edmund Dantes officiating.  Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Cancer Society.
