It is with great sadness that the family of the late Raymond Leslie Neilson announce his passing on December 12th, 2022, at the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit in his 80th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children: Glenn (Jetta), Leslie (Cori), Hilding Raymond, and Krista; grandchildren: Joshua, Matthew, Ryan, and Aubrey; siblings: Grant (Shirley), Barbara (Derm), Linda, Karl (Janice), Gerald Hilding; in-laws: Bernard (Rosalind) Lewis, James (Barbara) Lewis and David (Ivy) Lewis; Kathy Quinlan and Charles Phillips; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

We are appreciative of the care and support from the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital and the Corner Brook Palliative Care Unit. With gratitude, we especially want to thank Mary Courtney for her support of Ray as a caregiver and friend.

Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Pasadena. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request, instead a donation can be made to Inclusion Canada Newfoundland and Labrador (https://www.inclusioncanadanl.ca/) or the charity of one’s choice.
