It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joseph Gerard Griffin announce his passing Wednesday, December 14th in his own home at the age of 97 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children, Joy Griffin Houle (Christian), Donna O'leary (Ron), Joseph (Janet), Craig (Ann), Robert (Lisa), Todd (Diane) and Danieal (Roxane); 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years Eileen Janet Griffin, children Susan, Patrick, Kathleen and Janet, parents Patrick and Mary Griffin as well as all of his brothers and sisters. There will be a “Celebration of Life” for Joseph Griffin the summer of 2023. A special thank you to all the health care workers who helped him daily. Also an extra special thank you to his wonderful neighbors Mark and Linda Maloney for all their kindness care and support. As expression of sympathy, no flowers by request, donations may be made to a local food bank.
