RUTH Howard Francis Summerside, NL August 3, 1926 - February 7, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Howard Ruth announce his passing on Monday, February 7th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Lydia (nee Penney); daughter Jacqueline (Bill) Lundrigan, Summerside; her loving grandson Ryan, Lloydminster, AB; brothers-in law: William (Marion) Ruth, Curling and Lorne Taylor, Summerside; sisters-in-law: Donalda (Bill) Strickland and Hilda Ruth, Mountainview Estates, Corner Brook; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by brothers Rex and Joseph, sisters Jacqueline Penney, Margaret Davis and Ena Taylor. Friends may visit St. Paul's Anglican Church, Summerside today, Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, February 10th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sidney Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Corner Brook.
