We are so sorry to hear of Perry’s passing … out thoughts and prayers are with you all during this very sad time.
Perry always had a great sense of humour! Growing up in Hampden going to see the bears in the dump was always a highlight of passing our time as teenagers ! One night Perry invited me and Barb Eveleigh Gale to go into the dump and see the bears … of course we accepted ( lol Perry had a car , we didn’t) . Got to the dump and that night there were several bears , a couple of which made their way close to the car . Of course Barb and I got a little nervous … we said “ Come on Perry , let’s get out of here !” Perry agreed and tried to start the car . It wouldn’t start ! Well now panic set in and all Perry did was laugh at us , while trying to start the car several times ! Finally after what seemed like an hour the car started ! Whew we were relieved ! In the meantime I think Perry played a trick on us ! He got such a kick out of us, and how frightened we were …. I’ll always remember his mischievous nature. RIP my friend.
