Ulah was predeceased by her parents Doug and Edith Robinson, brother Dean, her in-laws: Hedley and Elizabeth Wilton, brothers-in-law Bill Wilton, Robert Wilton, Ted Trenchard, Phonse Penney and Bob Pretty, sisters-in-law Betty Wilton and Amy Wilton.

Ulah was born in Seal Cove, White Bay. After completing university training, she began teaching at Cooks Harbour on the Northern Peninsula, she moved to Corner Brook and began teaching at Country Road School, Humbermouth School and St. Matthews Anglican School. She met her husband Claude at a dance at the White House in Corner Brook they married and moved to Steady Brook where they inherited the family business. Ulah gave up teaching and they built a new store and home; she ran Wilton’s Village Store for many years. After several years they sold the store and built a new home in Steady Brook where Ulah ran a Bed and Breakfast for over 20 years. Steady Brook was her happy place where she spent countless hours in her precious garden, where she thrived. She took pride in helping many people in the community and served on the town council. She loved to travel and spent lots of time in Florida over the years. She loved spending time at her cabin in Boom Siding where she would entertain family and friends. An annual event at the cabin was hosting a yearly scoff of jiggs dinner for all her teacher friends, this tradition continued for many years.

A special Thank you to Doctor Power, Chris Penney, and the angels who cared for Ulah on 4 North at the Corner Brook Long Term Care.
