Evelyn Louise Parsons Fort McMurray, Alberta (Formerly of Mt. Moriah, NL) It is with great sadness that the family of the late Evelyn Parsons announces her passing on Saturday, December 19th, 2009 at the Northern Lights Regional Health Centre, Fort McMurray, Alberta at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are: son: Leslie (Marcie) Parsons, Fort McMurray; daughters: Janet (Ron) Butt, Mt. Moriah, Linda (Dave) Kung, Fort McMurray, Lana (Eric) Perrett, Mt. Moriah, Kim (Jim) Jesso, Fort McMurray and Rhonda (Chris) Osmond, Fort McMurray; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; her mother: Mrs. Janet Critch, Pasadena; two sisters: Cavell Allen, Curling and Rosalind Rose, Pasadena; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Parsons, 2001 and her father, Elam Critch, 1992. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 24th at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Curling. Reverend Karen Laldin officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
