Sept. 21, 1954 – Jan. 2, 2023

 

The Lucas family is sad to announce the unexpected passing of James Lucas at the age of 68 years on the morning of January 2, 2023 at Oceanside Home Care in Codroy Valley, NL.

 

James is survived by his father, Reginald Lucas and brother Paul Lucas of Stephenville Crossing, his brother Gerard Lucas of Fairview, AB, his sister Irene Barnes of Cranbrook, BC, and his nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

There will be a visitation at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, August 18, 2023 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.. Inurnment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.

 

Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL.

 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing, NL.
