Obituary of Garry Maidment
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Garry Maidment announce his passing on January 5th, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL at the age of 73 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife: Ann Maidment; 3 girls: Jackie Maidment (JP) Bland, Billie Maidment (Ryan Fitzpatrick), and Brittany Maidment (Ryan Best); 2 babies: Savannah Pittman and Ty Fitzpatrick; best friends: Jerome Murphy, Henri Ike Rich, Clarence Shears, and Glen Noseworthy; sistser: Nell Szabo and Dorothy Wall; family friends: Cindy Barrett and Jim Rumbolt, Frank and Barbara Brown; as well as a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Garry was predeceased by his parents: William and Mabel Maidment; and brothers: Cecil Maidment and Wall Maidment.
As per Garry's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Friends and family may visit Fillatre’s funeral home, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL on Friday, January 20th, 2023, from the hours of 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Happy Valley Goose Bay SPCA.
