September 20, 1947 – January 7, 2023

It is with broken hearts that the family of the Late Calvin Sheppard announce his sudden passing at the age of 75 years, on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Bonne Bay Health Centre in Norris Point, NL.

Calvin leaves to mourn his wife, Beverly; daughter Cynthia (Jeff) Puddester; sons William (Elizabeth) Crocker, and Christopher (Brianne) Crocker; grandchildren Devin (Summer), Maggie, Makenna, Allan, Christian, Bethany, Hudson, Nathan, Arya, and Liam; sister Mona Bannister; brothers Jim (Karen) Sheppard and Terry (Jim) Sheppard; mother-in-law Eva Anderson; brother-in-law Lyndon (Sharon) Anderson; sister-in-law Lori (Joe) Brake; as well as extended family and a large circle of friends.

Calvin was predeceased by his parents Cortland and Rita Sheppard; his precious son Darryl; and his father-in-law Richard Anderson.

The family would like to extend a huge Thank You to Dr. Hughes and staff at the Bonne Bay Health Centre for their care, determination, and compassion.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from the hours of 2 – 5 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake. The Funeral Service will take place at 2 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Fillatre’s Funeral Home with Rev. Canon Jeffrey Petten officiating.  Interment will be held at a later date.
