Obituary of Bertha Valencia Blake

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertha Valencia Blake (nee: Pottle), announce her passing on Tuesday, January 10^th, 2023, at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL, at the age of 76 years.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her partner: Paul Jararuse; children: Kathy Pottle (Kenny), Brenda (Igor Dragushevsky), Winston (Dawn Penton), Josephine Anastasiadi, Sherry and Tabitha (Robert Bola); grandchildren: Damien, Jillian, Nazik, Marcel, Prochor, Gordon, Chloe, Uestine, Lau, and Ava; great-granddaughter: Makenna; brothers: Maxwell Pottle (Barbara), Henry Broomfield (Christine), and Henry John Palliser; sisters: Martha Roberts (Dave) , Bernice Palliser and Alice Palliser (Fred Pottle) ; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Bertha was predeceased by her parents: Ernest and Stella Pottle; biological parents: Winnie Michelin (nee Palliser) and Hubbard Palliser: son: Alister; and grandson: Ernest (Ernie): brother: Danny Palliser; sister Mary Palliser.

There will be a funeral service held in Rigolet. Details to be announced.
