Obituary of Frank Meade

Frank Meade
September 25, 1947 – January 12, 2023

it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank Meade on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. He leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, his daughter Darlene (Junior) and son Corey (Jeanette, Brandon (Amy)). Grandchildren Emily (Dylan), Brooke and Jared. He is predeceased by his loving wife Marjorie.

He is also leaves to mourn his brothers Gord (Audrey), Clayton (Margaret) Aubrey (Gladys); brothers-in-law Hubert (Barb), Percy (Marie) and Guy (Cheryl); sisters-in-law Irene (Joe), Harriet, Betty (Jerry), Barbie (Larry), Madeline and Rena; and his friend Dora. Frank is being reunited with those loved ones gone before him.

He leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Frank will be remembered by his kind, gentle and soft spoken nature. He thoroughly enjoyed his music, hunting and his cabin. The entire community will feel his absence as Frank was always just a phone call away to anyone who required his services. Whether electrical, carpentry, or meat cutting, he was always available. His kind smile will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place. He will be resting at his residence and a service will take place on Monday, January 16^th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo. Following the service, both Frank and Marjorie will be laid to rest at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
