It is with great sadness that the family of the late Marie “Manianesh” Agnes Collins announces her passing on Friday, January 20th, 2023 at the Labrador Health Centre, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL.

 

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children: Jennifer Rich, Virginia Collins, Pauline Piwas, Sue Ann Collins, and Gordie Collins Jr. Also 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

 

Marie was predeceased by her parents: Mary Theresa and Louis Asta, biological father: Sam Napeo, brothers: Louie Asta, Raphael Asta, half-brother: Simon Noah, and sisters: Mary, Jessica, and Angela Asta.

 

Visitation to be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, at 2:00pm.

 

Funeral service and interment will take place in Natuashish. Details to follow.
