I was shocked and saddened to just learn of Julie's passing. Julie was a wonderful, well organized co-worker and if you wanted something done, it was done with speed and perfection. To Max, Boys, and family,
Words cannot express the shock and sadness that my family and I felt when we heard of Julie's passing. Max, Julie and the boys were a big part of our lives for many years. Max and my late husband, Colin worked together. Julie was an amazing person and always held a very special place in my husband's heart. We looked forward to our gatherings and hearing about everything that was happening with them. There was always such joy on Julie's face when she talked about her family, especially the boys. We first met both Max and Julie when our son Matthew was going to school in St. Johns. Aaron, Matthew, and two other boy rented a home together for several years. Both Julie and Max were so friendly, Julie had a smile that could light up a room and spoke so lovingly when talking about her boys. She was a wonderful woman who always made it a point to stop and speak to us whenever we ran into one another. It was our pleasure to have met and known Julie.

My heart broke when I read Julia has passed away. I feel so badly that I can not visit with you
or attend her funeral to honor her memories that I have...so many wonderful Memories of her
since she was a little girl, working with me at Browning Harvey all those years, running in to you both at the Mall and chatting and catching up on family news.
I have missed those chance encounters with my old friends since I came to Nova Scotia ,
and I realized that one by one I am loosing the opportunity as my friends are predeceasing me.
I remember how generous you both were Max and Stella when we had loss family members in Corner Brook and in our time of need. My regret is that I won't be there for
you now and that really hurts.

I worked with Julie, she helped me navigate through many a workers claim. She was always incredibly pleasant, kind and lovely. Every time I came to her office she showed me pictures of her boys and told me how well you were doing and how incredibly proud she was of each and every one of you. I have seen her a few times over the last few years and no matter how sick she was, she was still that same upbeat beautiful person. I was so sad to hear of her passing. To Max and family,
Julie and I were coworkers. But I actually met her long before that when I was injured at work. I’d often have to stop by her office and I would have one or two toddlers in tow. As soon as she saw them she would get this big, welcoming smile and say Hello to them. As the years went by and we worked together she would always ask about the boys by name. Always supportive, always kind And its because of that genuine warmth and friendship that I find this so very hard. Please just know that she touched the lives of so many employees of WH, and was thought of so warmly by all. We will miss her.

My heart is broken to hear this news. Julie was the most lovely woman I’ve ever known. Her smile was beautiful as was she. So kind. She loved her family so much.
