Obituary of Garry Leo Mahar

March 2, 1966 - January 26, 2023

It is with great sadness the family of the late Garry Leo Mahar of Port au Choix, NL announce his sudden but peaceful passing on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the age of 56.

Garry leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Michelle, of 26 years; his sons Jeremy (Kim) and William (Kajol); fur babies Charlie, Bear and Star; brothers Mike (Diane), Clary (Sharon), Jerry (Joanne), Ken (Hope), Peter (Rose) Aloysius (Bomi);  sisters Amelia, Sadie, Clarice (Vernon) and Stella, as well as Michelle's parents Dennis and Shirley Gaslard; Michelle's siblings Dennis (Kim) and Stephanie along with many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Predeceased by:  Parents Aloysius and Elsie Mahar, brothers Bill, Primus, Edward Mahar and nephew Loman Noel. 

The family would like to acknowledge the incredible nursing staff and doctors on the ICU unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital for the constant care and compassion during this difficult time as well as the First Responders at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre. 

Cremation has taken place.
