Obituary of James Harvey

James (Jimmy) Harvey passed peacefully at his home on January 26, 2023, at the age 87. Leaving to mourn are his loving children, Rick (Brenda), Jimmy (Maggie), Judy (Dwayne), Colleen (Jim), and Debbie. His siblings, Bernadette (Frank), Lena, Dave (Mona), Dan (Bernadette) and Leonard. His grandchildren, Andy (Kelsie), Rebecca (Justin), Bhreagh, Erin, Tyler, Royce (Mandy), Kerenza, Karst, Claire, and Alexander. His great-grandchildren, Callie, Bennett and Annabelle. His extended family, Francine, Wesley and Zachary. 

He will be missed by a large circle of family and friends who he loved to see dropping in and having a fine old chat. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Labrador Grenfell Health. Special thanks to Dr. Curran who provided such compassionate care to our Dad during all his hospital visits. 

James was predeceased by his mother, Bridget Carew, his sisters, Carmel and Mary and his brothers, George and Freddie. 

Visitation will take place at Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley - Goose Bay, NL on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, from 6:00-9:00 p.m. A funeral service will take place at the Roman Catholic Church, Happy Valley Goose Bay, NL, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.with Father Boniface officitating.
