MICHAEL JAMES YETMAN Corner Brook, NL 1914 - 2009 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael James Yetman announce his passing on Monday, December 28th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 95 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 71 years Mary, children: Patricia (Larry) Dunphy, Michael (Pearl) Yetman, Geraldine (Bill) Church and Barbara (Tor Naess); 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; brother Ron (Fanny) Yetman, Ottawa, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his granddaughter Carolyn Yetman, great-granddaughter Kelsie Barnes, parents James and Anne Yetman, brothers and sisters Harry Yetman, Jospehine Madore, Benedicta Collins, Gus Yetman and Margaret Pike. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday 7-9 PM and Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 31st at 10:30 AM from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Monsignor Edwin Gale officiating and Homilist Father Joseph Kelly. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
