It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfreada Florence Collier (nee Brake) announce her peaceful passing at Western Long Term Care Home surrounded by her loving family and friends at the age of 97 years.

She leaves to mourn with many fond and loving memories, her four daughters: Linda Patey (John), Mary Loder (Peter), Sharon Park (Terry), Paula Barry (Glenn); her son Wade Collier (Lisa); 12 grandchildren: John Loder, Tammy Day (Cory), Marsha Hilliard (Ivan),Christopher Patey (Muriel), Ian Patey (Holly), Scott Butt (Susan), Natasha Wilson (Matt), Ashley Grigg (Ryan), Brittany Collier (Reggie), Stephanie Young, Kyle Young, and Jamie Stone (Toni); 20 great-grandchildren; special niece Dorothy Garnier (Curtis); special friends David and Jocelyn Kennedy; sisters-in law: Blanche Downey, Vivian Parsons, and Alma Hilliard; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and special friends.

Florence was predeceased by her husband Joseph Collier; her parents Francis and Jessie Brake; her infant baby girl; her granddaughters: Lisa, Mary Patey, and Rikki Lee Butt; her great-grandsons Jacob and Joseph Hillard; her sisters: Mary Young and Eva Gaudett; brother Richard Brake; her sons-in-law Frederick Patey and Wilbert Park.

We would like to extend a special thanks to the wonderful staff at Western Long Term Care, 3^rd Floor Nature’s Haven for their care and compassion for our beautiful mother. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Robert O’Driscoll for your care and compassion to our mother over the years.

Visitation will be taking place on Monday, January 30, 2023, from the hours of 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saint’s Anglican Church, 44 Clarence Street, with Reverend Canon Tanya White officiating. No flowers by request of the family. Memorial donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Church.
