Obituary of Annie Georgina Griffin (CARD OF THANKS)
The family of the late Annie Griffin would like to extend a sincere thank you to those who provided comfort and support in the passing of our dear Mother.
We appreciated all the phone calls, emails, cards, Mass cards , flowers, food , prayers and donations made in Mom's memory to Sacred Heart Parish and Cystic Fibrosis. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
Thank you to all those who visited the funeral home and attended the funeral mass.
Special thank-yous to Fr. Terry Boland for visiting Mom at home, also Fr. Edward Terry for your hospital visits,your presence at the funeral mass was appreciated and to Father Lee Lainey, thank you for the beautiful service at the Funeral Home it was very special to each of us.
To the Late FatherJim Robertson for officiating the funeral mass, when speaking of our Mom, your words touched our hearts and was memorable to each of us.
To the Sacred Heart Choir, and Sister Kay Rex, thank you for the lovely music you provided.

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Griffin (Hynes) announce her passing on Saturday, January 28th at the Western Memorial Long Term Care, Palliative Unit at the age of 93.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Tom jr (Jo), Trudy Wallace, Jim (Brenda) Sandy (Gerry) Buckle, Tony (Carolann), Bill, Ann Marie (Gary) Seaward, Donna (Basil) English & Barbara (Jerome) Dicks. Grandchildren: Craig, Kelly, Jeff, Jasen, Shelley, Glen, Brad, Kerri, Michael, Mark, Danielle, Jonathan, Jordan and their mother Joanne, Jody, Chris, Jennifer, Stephanie, Nathan, Matthew, Katie & Erin as well as 33 great grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband Tom, her son Brian, infant daughter, daughter-in-law Jackie Griffin, son- in- law Glenn Wallace granddaughters Robyn Griffin & Anne English, parents Curtis & Gertrude (French) Hynes, step mother Elizabeth (Sansome) Hynes, brothers: George & Harry, Sisters: Ruby Pynn, and Muriel Prillo.
A special thank you to Dr. Morris, Dr. Wadhwa, Michelle, Tammy, Dr. White, Dr. Lewis and all the nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit. Your kindness and compassion shown to our mom will never be forgotten.
Visitations will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday 7pm-9pm & Friday 2-4pm & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 10:30am at Sacred Heart Parish with Monsignor Jim Robertson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Sacred Heart Parish.
