It is with tremendous sadness that the family of the late Cindy Buckle announce her passing following her courageous struggle, on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Western Long Term Care in Corner Brook, at the age of sixty-five years old.

Leaving to mourn, with loving memory, her partner Cecil, her mother Marion, her mother-in-law Susannah, her son Kyle, her daughter-in-law Elizabeth, her grandchildren Juliet and Dominic, her siblings Danny (Wendy), Debbie, Eddie (Paula), Jackie (Harvey), and Terry (Huena), her sister-in-law Dale, and her many nieces, nephews, friends, and family members. She was predeceased by her father Edward, father-in-law David, and brother-in-law Terry.

Cindy deeply valued her quality time with her partner, her son, her daughter-in-law, and her beloved grandchildren. She dedicated forty of her years to welcoming new life into the world–which included several of her nieces and nephews–and her entire life to caring for others.

Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home at 4 St. Marks Avenue, Corner Brook, on Friday, February 3, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A service will also take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Saturday, February 4, at 10:00 am, with Father Lee Lainey officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in the form of flowers or donations to Daffodil Place will be graciously accepted.
