April 18, 1957 - January 31, 2023
Forteau, NL

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Chesley Howell on Tuesday, January 31st, 2023 at the age of 65 years.
He leaves to mourn his wife Ruth; his daughter Joanne (Shane);his three grandchildren Sophie, Elijah and Samuel; his mother Alfreda; his brothers Hollis(Nancy), Dwight (Peggy), Levi, Boyd and a large circle of family and friends. Predeceased by his father Stewart and his sister Eva.
He was a man that worked hard, loved fishing and working in the woods but his greatest love was for his grandchildren who were the light of his life.
Funeral service will take place at the English Point Gospel Hall on Tuesday, February 7th at 1:00 p.m. followed by burial at the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Forteau.
